We would like to thank everyone who has expressed interest in participating in Beta.  We also very much appreciate the positive response & useful feedback we are receiving from current testers.    Beta test accounts are once again available by invitation-only as we finish up key requirements to become feature-complete.

We will post a release date for open beta as soon as possible.

Our plan to open Beta "as needed" worked great for the first 2-3 weeks, but due to the sudden and unexpectedly huge response over the past week things have changed. We have had to go from opening beta for hours at a time, to minutes at a time. As a result we may soon be going to an application format.

Some hardware problems have required us to scale back the test accounts a bit as well. We will be replacing servers next week to deal with that. Thanks to everyone for your patience and interest!

It took a long time but the Beta Test phase officially begins today!  Rather than issue beta test codes, the beta account application page will be open to anyone.  We will open it on a regular basis, and close it again when a quota has been met.  We feel scaling the userbase this way will work best for us as we monitor server performance and make adjustments.  The application page will probably be open for a certain amount of time each day (sometimes multiple times per day depending on traffic), so if you'd like to join check back often.
